    Default Roadrunner users help me

I need some help deciding. I am going to longline some roadrunners. I want to try the Reality Shad Buffet rig or the Bang Shad Buffet rig. My catch size range where I frequent is 9"-13" and in a suspended range from 15-28 fow. Any help is appreciated as this will be a new style for me.

The way they're made, with a heavier head on one wire & a lighter head on another wire, supposedly it would ride upright ... with the heavier head underneath. I've only tried it once, and it would only ride that way at a VERY slow pace. Otherwise they'd pretty much run sideways (side by side). Not that that's a "bad" thing, mind you, just an observation I made on the one & only trial run I made with them.

I wonder if a swivel would correct that

Don't know ... but, the sideways pull seemed to be more connected to speed. It was connected to the line by a clip, not a swivel, but I really don't think the swivel would change anything.

I don't "Longline" enough to say, one way or the other, and since I got a Livescope I haven't really been Pushing jigs as often as before .... so maybe having someone that does do a lot of Longline Trolling give their opinion would be best in your case.

And just as a "so you know" : I took the Roadrunners off the wire with the intention of using them as single baits. I've just had so much luck using the pink & hot pink marabou Road Runners that I had Skip make for me, that I've just not gotten around to using any of the (dozens ??) other Road Runners I've collected over the years.
