Default Richard Gene Inspired light mount

Made a light mount after watching Richard Gene catching fish under the bridges using his lights. I went aluminum instead of wood. Hopefully the fish won't mindName: 20210724_192829.jpg

    Nice light Jack!
Now if you can figure out how to beat those big skeeters you will be set !
im not going at night and fighting those huge skeeters for em ! don’t matter if I could catch a limit of 2 #ers. lol.
I do have a thermo cell that works really great but some them their skeeters on the TN river leave whelps for days!

I sure have missed setting up under a bridge at night on Guntersvilles. Some magic down there at those bridges. I believe I found one up here on the Chick that may have that same magic. I have a fresh bottle of bug spray. I may have to install a bug zapper on the boat.

I use one of those PVC wrapped with LED underwater light sticks. No bugs that way. I haven't had a mosquito bite in several years, and I live right on the water. Must be all of the bourbon in my blood. Richard Gene Inspired light mountName: 20210418_193503.jpg

It was a slow night. Minnows clustered tightly under the light. Then small shad swimming in a circle as far as I could see. Shine the headlamp at the water on the dark side of the boat they were there also. 10 short crappie, lost count on white bass, 4 crappie came home with me for po boys. Fought a 17" largemouth that didn't know he was hooked until he got to the boat. Then the fight was on. 4lb Viscous high vis. Took a minute or 2 to get him in. Lost count of the number on fish that bumped into the boat. Has one jump in and land on the front deck from the dark side of the boatName: 20210724_215103.jpg

Not sure what this cloud is but it is swimming around. Zooplankton are supposed to be too small to see. Whatever it is the minnows were eating itName: 20210724_220444.jpg
