The demo they showed did not impress. The garmin has better resolution IMHO. But whatever, it's close. I just figured if they were gonna show a demo they'd show us the best they could capture. As long as the additional competition drives prices down I'll be happy.

I've attended a bunch of I-cast trade shows. Been to several in Orlando and when it was in Vegas. I did manage to attend a few meetings and had a good time seeing old friends.

Not sure how many of these you've attended but this was probably the worse attended show ever. Blame it on Covid or blame it on shipping and inventory challenges or blame it on whatever but it was off a lot. Rapala, Zoom, columbia outdoors and others didn't attend.

But like you I managed to have as much fun as I could squeeze in around actual business.

Hope you saw the new offerings by Calcutta Outdoors. Looks like some nice combos fro Matzuo. My mission was with Carson Optical, carson.com, and they offer lots of stuff like floating wallets, floating keychains, and magnifiers for those of us who may be getting a bit long in the tooth LOL

Yep seemed it was at least half the size it was two years ago. Still fun attending and seeing old friends.
