    There's lots of gimmic fish attractors out there.... (made to catch the dollars of fishermen)
    In my own experience, I've seen the boat bumping for stripers actually work.
    Now there are some electric "boat thumpers" out there for sale and it seems they are in demand. I once saw an add for a bow mounted trolling motor with paddles instead of a prop to splash the surface as an attractor.

    For those that use the Thumper…it is beyond annoying. How anyone can fish with those going is beyond me.

    I would get one but have stopped buying useless gadgets . Spend your money on "deer chewing gum " . They cant smell you even down wind .
