LOL, now that's funny. 40 years ago Bill Dance was pushing the PH meter. I think it needed to be 7.5 for the best fishing water conditions. My friend who then owned a bait and tackle store tried one. He said when he lowered it in the water it would read good level, then move it 5 ft. next to a stickup and it would read totally different. I feel the same way about the color-c-lector gadget. I think this stuff was being pushed by Doug Hannon back then. The Bass Professor.
The class of young pros today on TV don't know what their missing out on do they?
Fish Formula, helicopter lure (the only lure you need, fish it vertical or horizontal). and on and on I could go.

Jigger poling tying a topwater plug a few inches behind the tip of a can pole. Use the tip of the pole to swish the water ahead of the lure

Got an 18 foot Browning pole 20 years old with about 10 inches of offshore braid. Still do it to show my 2 sons how it's done. You better not be on heart meds. This is one time COLOR DOESN'T MATTER. Been jigger poling 40 plus years. Can't find creek chubs anymore. I'm down to using large cordell redfins. Works great. But it works on them forearms. LOL

Livescope has shown us just how spooky fish can be . I have watched them in almost 20' of water out 20' run when livewell kicked on .
