    Default boat decking

I am looking for some suggestions on deck coverings. I know the tried and true indoor/outdoor/marine carpet route, but weighing options. Might be getting a Terry 4.7m bass type boat. will need new carpet, and the charging wired reconnected (squirrels), but the 85 Johnson is sound. Flooring under old carpet is completely enclosed in fiberglass mat and resin. steering works as does the trim and tilt. any suggestions on deck coverings. Thankx ahead of time

Someone here just redid one with I believe it was called BlackTip. Eva foam decking. I will be redoing the tracker sometime. Don't know what I will use yet.

I watched a few videos on Raptor liner and diy spray in bedliner that is tintable.

In our tin boat we have spray in bed liner, with patches of SeaDek to prevent rod rash(too expensive to do whole boat) much easier to clean up than carpet in our glass boat.

Look at Hydroturf and see if it will work for your setup.

The boat I’m fishing from now had hydro turf camp in it. Had. The sun killed it and it turns to dust every time you move on top of it. I took an oscillating tool and removed (not easy) it all from the decks and replaced with cheap carpet, put in with contact cement.
