I'm a subscriber to his vids, just the other day I decided to look up his YouTube page value. It is $203K/Yr, that is the current value. He gets more right than just his "Hook Set". It's a lot of work to produce the amount of content he produces, the man is a Hustler. No moss growing on his tin boat!

I am not saying the number is wrong but I will say that it seems way too high. I know some people with youtube channels and their revenue rate is far less than that per 1000 subscribers. It depends on your audience, their demographics and the stuff they will buy because it's all about ad dollars. If he's making that kind of dough, that's awesome but I'd be surprised. Hope it's correct!

No matter which website you go to for that info....it is wrong. There are only 2 who know what he makes....Richard Gene....and YouTube. Those sites do not have access to his CPM or his RPM. My channel is no more that a speck of dust on YouTube...but I am a student of YouTube. I have a pretty big CPM but I do not have the views. On the other hand folks can have a huge number of views and not have a good CPM. There is no doubt he is making a very good chunk of coin on his channel...but as has been mentioned the figure you put out is not correct. What you can garner from those sites that tell you what someone makes on YouTube is subscriber and view analytics. The algorithms YouTube uses to determine CPM and RPM are very complex and they do not share those with anyone. If his RPM is say, 6 dollars...then he made 9,600 dollars the last 30 days....which is great pay in anyone's book. His RPM could be higher...but that is very good RPM, and to achieve the yearly dollar figure you stated his RPM would have to be around 10 dollars....highly unlikely. Richard Gene is an influencer no doubt. He showed up on Jimmy Houston's channel....that wasn't by accident by the way. The month before RG did the videos with Jimmy Houston his views had been 355,000....the month after RG was on his channel JH views went up to nearly 3 million for the month and his subscriber base went up by another 17 thousands. When RG has appeared on a few other channels...which is not many....those channels gained also. YouTube is a fascinating place....I have personally witnessed folks go from a small following to making a lot of money and quitting their jobs going full time YouTube. RG is not at the 200 thousand dollar a year mark yet...but in all likelihood he will get there within a couple of years. His rise on YouTube was actually pretty fast compared to a lot.

Whatever he makes it is well deserved. He works it like a job. He puts in lots of hours and he produces fish. If anything it is not easy to make those fish make a guest appearance. He works hard for every dollar he gets out of it. But I get the sense that he enjoys every minute of it and in not in it for the pay.

I agree. And like him or not he has helped lots of fisherman get better and catch more fish. I know that personally. I’ve watched him for a while and just recently discovered SK. I’ve watched hours of them both and learn something new every time I watch. So I don’t care what any of those guys make because they help me and it doesn’t cost me a dime.
