Asking for prayers

I got a text early last week from a client who had booked a Father's Day present trip for his Dad and Father-In-Law for Thursday. He said he and his wife had contracted Covid and he wouldn't be able to fish.. He was at home but his wife, who was pregnant with their 3rd child but first son, had been hospitalized. I got word late yesterday afternoon that the wife passed away Saturday as well as the unborn child from pneumonia from Covid. This hit me like a kick in the stomach. The husband has been a friend for several years and his wife has been in my studio with him. Both he and his wife are 40. Their two daughters are in elementary school. My Daughter and her family were very good friends and are taking this badly, especially my Grandkids.

Say a prayer for this family. He is youth pastor at my Daughter's church. Our community is in shock!

That is such a tragedy. Covid isn't done and I worry about the future with these variants. I lost four friends to covid in one month, last September, in my tiny town. I am very sorry for your and that family's loss. Be careful out there.
