    Sounds like LS is like ice fishing with a good flasher. That's been happening for years. Glad to see the open water users are catching up!

    My live scope would be replaced ASAP if something ever happened to it . It is unreal once you get the learning curve down .

    I see you use heavier weights and get closer than what I usually see here . Some days they are so skittish the bait hitting the water or live well kicking on can spook them . I find most of the time I pitch 15 to 20' . The less movement on the jig to work best here . Live scope is a game changer hunting down open water fish . It has proved to me that color more important to fishermen than fish . Several times I have shown people Crappie will bite plain unpainted jig heads .

    I've seen plenty of ice fishermen using live scope also....

    With being able to get your jig inches from the fish can improve your chances of catchn them on a wider range of colors.... With being able to see the fish react to your bait has shown me color matters more than not here on the lakes I fish..... I've seen them turn away from one color and chase down another color within seconds...... Color definitely matters when it matters.....

    I was with you until its come time for me to start guiding and I'll also be back into tourney fishing and just can't give those fellas that kind of advantage......
