havn't seen any split tail pearl or orange or pink like you use outlaw. look deadly for sure. Great day on the water and wonder why they stayed on top of those boulders but hey, crappie do what they do.
Met up with limits tackle owner Steve at 3:45 , needed some 1.75 inch split tail pearly whites . On the water 55 minutes later 45 miles away after picking up my wife and daughter . Putting it to them unsuspecting poor crappie from 5 to 7 ,while my wife and daughter swam at the beach on the lake .
Was running it on a bladed head UNTIL ,the darn crappie ate the blade off the head !
then I just fished the blade less head until time to go to the house .
water temp was a balmy 86 degrees and the fish were in depths ranging from 6 to 10 feet of water . Still liking it drug by them and some really smashed the jig .
Only hit a few locations due to time constraints , like Sk says fish slow and move fast . We hit 6 locations and 2 of them had a few pecks and no fish hit the deck and those got left behind quickly .
Best spot was a huge set of boulders , big as some folks one car garages . They were all over them from top to bottom in 10 feet of water .
Not sure why these particular fish won't move out to deeper water , but there they seem to stay until further notice .
We Left with 15 nice ones after we couldn't decide who might want them at the ramp . Wife and I said we really don't need them , so , Called the neighbor across the street while they were still wiggling when we got home and said "want them " ?
YES was the answer and 5 minutes later , he was at the front door with his wife all smiles
Fish were in the every kind of bite you can imagine mode and most were really close to 10 inches and slightly under . Only boxed the 11 to 13 inch fish in a live well loaded with ice blocks . Them fish were super ALIVE at the ramp and the fighting continued during the lets find you fisheez an even cooler spot in the cooler .....
Was a lovely joking around fun filled trip and the wife and daughter were all smiles at the boat ramp too, nice way to end the day no doubt
KABOOM is the word

OOPS! Good trip but sorry to hear about the phone. Save it for an episode of “You might be a redneck if….” Seriously, a bit of bad luck on that one. Tip of the day - don’t try and get out belly button lint with that technique!
