    Default High Fence Fishing

Got an Email this morning that Mega Live will be out in September. The world turns and you either keep up with it or be left behind. I don't think
that the people that have the new equipment are cheating but it will make them successful fishermen. It takes an element of knowledge out of what
it takes to be one of the better fisherman on the lake. To me it's like the guy that comes to duck camp that just happened to have pictures of the
huge deer he killed on some high fence ranch. If I were a guide or tournament fisherman I would not be without the best equipment I could
afford. But if I go home with a crick in my neck, it's not going to be from staring at a screen all day. I want to catch fish but I also want to see that
eagle or osprey fishing or building a nest. I want to see the shad shadows with some flicking making me think there is something under them. The
outdoors is the only sports I ever wanted to play and I played long and hard. If I could go back in time I would do it the same way. Just thinking
out loud, get on back to your pea shelling.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
Thanks S10CHEVY, Ketchn, crp4570 thanked you for this post

Very valid point. Kind of the live scope video fishing as I have seen it called. Almost like fishing in the aquarium at Bass Pro. Not saying ithere is anything wrong with it. It just does not appeal to me.

For me it’s just a time saver and we all know that we never have enough time.
I run 3 other birds along with Livescope and honestly I go sometimes and don’t even turn Livescope on.
The world would be a dull place if everyone was the same with the same opinions.
    Thanks for that.

Good post and thoughts. Im a wade fisherman and not into all this for money. Had a good time this AM and saw a momma wood duck get her 5 young ones in the water and chugged up the creek not 35 feet from where I stood. Stuff like that is what I like to go with the fishing!

I’ve adjusted to side image and have it on my skiff. But that hasn’t moved since Christmas or so and the Jon with the baby electronics gets the nod. Most times, they don’t get turned on. I would like to try livescope just so that I would have a good understanding of it. Not throwing stones but it just seems to be a bit too far down the road to not having to know very much to go and catch fish. I’ve enjoyed learning the habits and techniques to catch several types of fish and I now go after them with what my daughter calls a glorified snoopy pole( ultralight). We’ll never keep advancing but I don’t have to make the trip along with everyone else.
