    I use awesome and magic eraser on my aluminum boat it really needs cleaning now but I would rather use the time fishing.

    Make sure you put a fresh coat of wax/sealant on there as you have now completely stripped it. If not it will stain again.... and quickly!

    Brands tend to lead to debates. (Ford/Chevy/Etc.)
    The type of wax/sealant you chose is where the real difference is. How often you want to do maintenance and how much money do you want to spend? At this point, you have stripped the hull so you can use whatever product you choose.
