Started fishing with my grandfather as a teen, but was more obsessed with bass fishing. Got really interested in crappie fishing again as a young adult when Pop’s health began to decline. He always needed someone to go with him and so he called me regularly. I finally just sold all my bass gear and took up crappie fishing exclusively. Also, my classmates and my brother in law crappie fished on the weekends so I went with them. Boy, I sure do miss my Pop. He would be 103 this year.

because I love to eat them and nothing like the thump on a jig.. like to catfish use to bas fish a lot but crappie fishing is my favorite..
2nd would probably be catching big red ears off the bed.
