Now I need some time to catch something to try them out on.
as stated they are about all that in the way of a stainless steel flexible wicked sharp fillet knife . i use the orange one but have several in my garage that i keep for just in case .....
you know maybe a give away in the contest area with one in the mix is something that might be fun ....
thanks for the idea and be careful with them there super sharp instruments ...

Tried out the knife on some bluegill and crappie over the weekend. It does a good job. Still working on my fileting technique after your video, getting a little more meat per filet. Still need more practice catching and fileting. Much prefer cleaning crappie to bluegill.

bluegill are a thin fish compared to a crappie and often are much more of a challenge to remove the meat from the skeleton . practice will make you good at it for sure . careful with that knife ,sharp little things no doubt .
you may want to change a few things from the way i did it in the video , there are several twists to it and bluegill are one of the times I change the way I fillet around the rib cage .

I don’t have much luck with cheap knives. Might be my honing skills tho. I can’t ever keep them sharp.

Pretty neat my friend. Just a tip...when you shoot a video for You Tube just tell the photographer to hold your phone horizontally instead of up and down. This makes the video much better. Then you just copy the You Tube Link, go to the icon on c.com to the right of the one where you post your photos. It looks like a film strip. Click on that icon and copy your You Tube link there. As you say "KABOOM" is the word. Looking to seeing more videos.

Thats the way I do larger slabs, smaller ones I go through the ribs. 2 nights ago I did 85 Bluegill 9"+ and 2 nice Crappie, I believe it took around 2 hours, with a beer break at halftime.
Thanks Ketchn thanked you for this post
