Default 12 volt gps trolling motor

What are the pros and cons on the powerdrive and terrova.
What are the differences and which is better.
I'm thinking about upgrading and trying to decide what to go with.
Also if there is another one that I haven't seen let me know.

I bought the Terrova 55BT I pilot. I like it a lot. You can hit the spot lock button and let the motor hold you in place. I use Spotlock, spotlock jog, and autopilot the most.

I bought the foot pedal because I thought I might need it for chasing down catfish jugs. It stays in the front tackle locker. The remote is awesome. You can run the trolling motor from the back deck if you wish. It made my fishing experience better.

At this point and time I would take the one I could get my hands on. I've owned an older 70 lb power drive and I now have a BT Terrova. If the Power Drive gps has spot lock I would go with that. Power drive is going to be a little tougher to stow/deploy.

Is the one on sale here still available.?

Stow and Deploy is an Ulterra feature, not Ultrex.

Ulterra has a tracking feature that we use all the time. Just record a path you made while fishing and you can then then let the TM run the track from end to start or start to end. Leaves you free to fish or do what ever you want.

The Terrova I pilot has the same feature. You drive the route with the trolling motor while recording the track. It will then run the track at the push of a button
