I seem to remember that one best , as a kid I always wanted a 94 , once I got one I hated it fast
the action was so stiff it hurt your hand to cycle it and the brass flying straight up hot as fire and falling right back on ya was you know what .
it got traded for a real lever action when it was still almost new , that marlin was dream rifle

Let’s not forget “The Searchers”. This is probably the best filmed and hard bitten characters Wayne ever played. There was no fooling around in this one.

PS That said, loved True Grit and many others.

True Grit and The Cowboys.
I always liked She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, The Searchers, The Sons of Katie Elder, The Horse Soldiers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and McQ (John Wayne's version of Bullitt). Duke was great!
