Lightbulb Redneck Ingenuity - Everyone got some, so now share your ideas......contest..

OK, this is a new contest.

Show off your redneck ingenuity. Post your idea and pic too (if you got one).

Which ever three posts get the most "likes" will be the winners. Three prizes, and audience participation in the selection of the winner. Very cool.

We will do the same prize pack as the "weekly fish picture contest" I do.

Bobby Garland Prize Pack. Thank you Bobby Garland, Bobby Garland rocks.

    One package of each.
Styles and colors will vary. Support those that support us. Thank you Bobby Garland for your great products. I love all their baits, but if you have not tried their Hyper Grubs, giv'em a shot. I love them, great action.....Slab

I'll go first. Did I say it don't have to be about fishing. Well it doesn't.

I have been known to grind down the edge of forks so they can cut stuff better. Wifey only lets be do the "camperware", but it works great. I grind down one edge, about to the level of a butter knife, and I can cut though all sorts of food better. Even fried crappie! So I guess it is fishing related in a round about way, cool. I'll add a pic to this post shortly to show y'all what I'm talking about.

It’s really hard to see but here’s the flat side. And the bottom pic is one where I ground it down a bit. I could probably make it sharp sharp, but even this will helps cut through a good steak even!!!!

Here is a redneck bait launcer i built for surf fishing.. I'm sure if it was scaled down a little bit it would shoot a crappie jig or a minnow just fine. Just think you can hit all those brush piles without ever leaving the shore.Name: 20180926_203658.jpg

My red neck idea was to make a better better slip float that is indestructible and works for everyone and everything from Bluegill and Crappie to Walleyes and to do it for under three pennies each so you do not mind losing them in brush pile fishing. I came up with the Carter slip float bobber.

Birch branch for a coat hanger. Birch because it is strong and purty. That is my fishing shirt on the end. Have another one in a different one for my waders, fishing vest, and hunting gear.

I will say that its great for almost empty tubes of caulk. You just got to be sure there is no one down range cause it gets lots of air time with 100 psi.
