    Default 700!

Got to 706 tonight after catching 14,it was again very difficult to detect a take, and the lake is dangerously low, looking like near record low level this year. Name: 20210521_192006.jpg

I hear that you guys are in sever drought conditions and that water is being cut off to farmers. Not cool.

Man, it sure is! We have extremely low water levels here in SE PA, due to lack of rain. The creek yesterday looked like July/late August levels, and the fish haven’t been bedding at their usual pace. It has been a tough bite. I managed about 15 yesterday. I just read California is going into another drought. Sounds like your neck of the woods is getting hit as well.

Thank you guys and gals for reading the posts. We are limited to one rod here, so I mainly cast a stinger on a very light head, then go even lighter in summer. The lake is at a level this year that necessitates the fish living and spawning in the open lake. Most years they spend a lot of time in the channels. Getting close to having the launch ramps shut down. I release nearly all fish, and am trying to get to 1000 for the year. Next sub goal is 800 by the end of June.
