Default Got our grandson out today

Vicki and I had the pleasure of taking our nearly 15 year old grandson, JT , out today on Barkley. As is usually the case, every day the bite is different.

We pulled Pico INT cranks for 4 hours and only had 12 keeper crappie and a big sauger. The crappie we had speak for themselves. One over 16”, two more over 15”, and another over 14”. The spawn appears to finally be over. Thanks to Justin (Finiman) for some Picos I didn’t have and a couple of tips. BTW, JT is almost 6’7”. Name: IMG_2182.jpg

Very nicely done. The big grins say it all. I'll take quality over quantity anytime... but it gets pretty hard to swallow when you have those trips that yield neither.
Thanks for sharing a great family day on the water with the rest of us.
