in my opinion , aint likely it hit the fish twice before it escaped
I vote cormorant ,but I have yet to see one in the area ?
it might be a heron though and to be sure there are a few over there .
sure does make me sad to see all the bites on them .
one thing for certain if that many larger fish have bites ....
imagine the numbers of small ones that did not escape

sharing is kewl , but wounding them kinda bothers me
of course it happens and I wound a few along the way myself
they sure are survivors , I managed a pretty large one yesterday in good condition with only one eye

not sure about that ,but there is a reason god made our eye sight get worse with age
that way you look in the mirror and say I still look pretty good for my age right

Absolutely! But sometimes it is true! Any crappie that bites is a good looker to me.
