What exact snap do you use for a 1/64 oz?

Say, #1crappiekiller (OP), what exact fast snap do you use? Your catch rate went up? I gotta know, lol.

I have been using a loop knot but reason I ask all this is my eyes and fingers don't cooperate all the time either.

My buddy swears by the loop knot, and don't get Me wrong he does catch nice fish. However I always catch 10 - 12 more fish than him at the end of the day.

Yes, I use 20# braid on all my rods, from my ultra-light to my 13 foot medium action. The braid has the diameter of 2# mono so there isn't a problem with threading it into the eye of the jig.

20# braid might sound like overkill for a 1/64 oz jig but I often catch large bass with the 1/64 oz jig when I am fishing around the edges of brush piles and in my slips. The largest bass I caught on a 1/64 oz jig was a little over 8 lbs by my scales.

I bought the quick snaps from aliexpress last year. Here are the urls for the 2 sizes I bought. One size is small and will go through the eyes of the 1/64 oz jig, the other is larger and works with the larger jigs. Don't remember which was which. As in most things, the prices have gone up since I bought them.

I bought it from China 2 years ago. The manufacter stated it had the diameter of 2 # mono. Since I am not an expert on line size I accept what the manufacter stated.

Regardless, it still goes into the eye of a 1/64th oz jig without any problems and will sometimes slide through the space between the end of the eye and the body when fighting larger fish.
