As in from yesterday maybe ?
Went over to my new lunch break spot .
final count was 46 crappie mixed pretty evenly black and white crappie
sizes ranged from micro 3.5 inches to around 11 or a bit more inches ...
more smalls than larges
and 2 yellow bass , in about 1 .25 hours , took a bit longer lunch break
work is wearing me thin lately , but not on my waist line I might just add !
Mostly short fish in the mix with around 10 or 12 keeper fish here and there .
Bite was highly variable with multiple slack line summer takes in the mix .
Very few HARD bites and more than a few missed fish .
7 to 8 foot of water in the shade off my friends old boat docks.
tried 2 different colors and the bite remained about the same .
kind of a smoke color in the "sum a dat" and a "bright as the sun" yellow chart
both were the 1.75 inch limits tackle split tail plastics
better fish were deeper as mostly occurs there and left them biting
asked my friend if he wanted a few condos put in his boat slips .
he said how much do they cost ?
I said how about we trade for sum more a dat dare lunchtime ketchn ?
