I started thinking I was losing my touch. My last couple outings I've only caught 10 crappie at the most. Got up this morning and headed to the Big G. I Got on the bank about 330, I was trying to beat the crowd. I figured I would crappie fish until 7, then switch to brim. First cast bang, second cast bang bang. Now I'm getting excited. The fish were in there good, they were slabs too. It was action packed until about 6am. I ended up with about 20 crappie, couple 2lb stripes and a nice small mouth.

I even got to meet a bass pro, Carl Jocumsen. The guy was very polite. He pulled up and ask if I minded if he cast in my area. I told him, go ahead and pulled my catfish rod out the water to give him more room. I seen him catch 1 bass.

I called it a day at about 830am. I guess I'll brim fish another day. The crappie were caught on blk/chart tube, and by blue ice, monkey milk, and mayfly. They were biting any where between 2 and 8 ft.
