Default A FIASCO you say ?

Yes it was , fish slinging of all sizes as fast as you can get the jig back in the water by golly !
3 guys and a lil boat and rods and fish just flying ....
ever seen a crew of over 60 fellas trying to ketch fish in a lil boat before ?
was lots of hooting it up going on i tell ya ...and ...
Don't think I can say I ever seen a guy net a nice one for one fella
AND have another off a different rod jump in with it
lots of throw backs , probably 8 to a keeper or more ...
we hit 6 different spots in waters from 8 to 25 foot deep
fish were on fire at EVERY stop ...
water temp 71 ,outside 50 , light drizzle , north wind
natural colors worked best and the bite was often a slack line
shad were dancing ALL over the lake and it was fish ketchn party no doubt
3 hours and we said when ....
    good stuff for sure
p.s. and don't ask why there was a small bamboo condo up in the front of the boat with me
    KABOOM is the word yawl

Yes, and that can be an adventure in itself. The venue would be party boat fishing out of Pt Pleasant, NJ. The skipper put us on some nice sea bass and it was game on all over the boat. Tangled lines, harsh language and a fun time by all. Those were the days...

Water temps are still in the low 60s here and we are having some nights in the 30s lately. I am hoping it warms soon. Congrats! I envisioned your boat like the episode “The Jinx” in Andy Griffith...glad y’all didn’t sink. LOL.

I was the younger version at almost 64 , the fella in the back has more than 10 years on me and to be sure there was some grinning big going on .
no harsh language was involved , it was one of those deals where if you had a jig in the water , you were more than likely to ketch fish .
there was a slight complaint about having to clean that pile of fish , but other than that mission accomplished
