    Makin jigs! I recall some 60+ years ago fishing on the Hudson River in upstate New York and ran out of worms. Good spot to. small bass everywhere. Found some feather's on the ground and put them on a hoof by clamping around them and the hook shank with a split shot. Worked great! I need to get back into that frame of mind again!

    used a white duck feather on a jighead with a white crappie nibble not long ago
    put the hook thru the quill/spine of the feather and tipped said hook with the nibble
    bass aint terribly bright and they loved it

    Those are pretty cool idea with endless possibilities. Like Ketchn said, pocketful of parts and then change as needed.

    I too would also be interested getting some. Good idea PIE GUY, definitely a better mouse trap........er.........versatile jig.
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
