    Default Langley Lurecast 330

I was given this reel by my grandmother before she passed. It was my grandfathers, who I never met, which makes it at least 60 years old.

Pretty cool little reel. I have it stored away and will pass it to one of my sons. I’m sure it’s not worth a lot of money, but the sentiments is worth much to me.Name: IMG_0953.jpg

Ebay has some for sale .... $43 - $95 (The $95 one is with a Langley cloth bag) The lowest priced one has no bag/box, but one does have the box & sells for $56.

But. like you say ... the sentiment overrides any monetary value. I'm with you on that, as I have rods/reels/tackle from my Grandpa, Mom, & Step-father that I wouldn't part with for even an outlandish offer.
Thanks John Doe thanked you for this post

I too have one exactly like that.
It was my Dads, worth more than all the money in this world, to me.
