I don't understand your post, Chuck. You're talking about Hamilton Beach, I get that part, you buy those used when you find them. The part in bold, no comprehende. Hope you will comment further.

That does look good. Watched a video on it. It seems fast, like it has more power than I expected, cutting saw action anyway, but it also seems that a corded one would have more power? Hmmm...

Over the last 25 years i think i have used just about every electric knife out there. About three years ago, An old friend told me to go to Wal-Mart and buy the $14 black and decker electric knife that they stock in the kitchen section. The model # is EK500W. I did just that and never went back to anything else. Went back and got two more just to keep at Crappie Camp during the spring. I'm not cheap and i will spend extra money on a good product. i have cleaned many crappie with this knife.

I have one of the cordless bubba knives also. I does a good job

I like the cordless version, to me it is just safer than a 120 volt knife with all the water and wet hands while filleting fish

Thank you for mentioning, I just bought one! If it doesn't work well, I'll take it back! Between Granny's hamilton beach and the black n decker, surely, I can get going again. If not, I'm buying bubba's cordless. I do like the idea of cordless. But I also like cheap and works just as good!
