    Default yesterday's colors

would they have taken other colors you might ask . i bet so , but here are the some of the colors i used .
one bass in the mix on the beds with the crappie eating shad that appear to be spawning now with the crappie too.
one bluegill got in on it as well .
sure is fun to see all the action in tight to the shore . snakes, birds ,fish and us 2 leggers all ketchn fish .
    good stuff no doubt
about half under a float and half pitching or vertical jigging .
the boat captain managed a few on a crankbait vertical bouncing it as well .
water temp 62 , lake up a foot or 2 , sunshine and early in the day ,3 foot of water out to about 10 ,no really consistent pattern other than the bait needed to be moving .
larger female fish were mostly a bit deeper in around 8 foot of water
i left and they went back at em again as i drove off to work .
    KABOOM is the word yawl

i aint never seen anyone do it before , but he puts a slip shot right tight to a small chrome crankbait and drops it to the bottom and just raises and lowers it twitching it some .
said he believed the rattles in it got them interested ....
i think it was that and the flash myself ...
the fish that took it were mostly larger versions

Good stories and interesting technique with the crank bait. You can’t argue with success!

He did a hand tie where he switched the colors on the red or orange and green. His jig was green head, red or orange body and then yellow tail.
