I never give up. Even if I have to cut the tank out though the bottom of the boat, It's gonna get fixed. The boat may not float anymore, but this tank will deliver fuel to the motor again, I guarantee.

I just ordered Kroil Oil, thanks.

And Slabsauce is next, I'll try that till the Kroil gets here!

If the Kroil doesn’t work, you can use it for scent bait for catfish. I know guys who swear by it.
It is the best penetrating oil I’ve ever used. Want to see corroded connections, work at a chemical plant for almost 3 decades.

Impact gun & socket just rounded the corners of the fitting. Still wont come off after 24 hour soak in PB Blaster bath. I'm getting impatient. May use a breaker bar on it and rip it out. One way or another it's coming out!

Know it's in a tough location, but heat usually helps to remove. Good luck.

See if you can’t find a crow foot wrench to fit it and use a ratchet with slow pressure to break it loose. They also make special sockets to fit those kinds of fittings. Wish I was closer I have a set. If a hydraulic shop around you might find a mechanic to borrow one from.

Default Dern it. Boat motor no make go.

Dang that nylon tank is tough. Breaker bar finally did it. Woulda thought the impact gun would be successful. But plain old elbow grease saves the day. A slight mod to the tool to make sure it stayed centered and extension on breaker bar. Whola .

I used uv glue to hold those screw drive bits there in the socket. Helped with the grip on the aluminum rectangular “fitting” piece.
