It's florida, I've seen a lot of aluminum eaten alive down here. I'm not near salt water and I've seen aluminum wiring disintegrate like this here too (outside 12 volt lighting). And this boat was used in salt at some point in time, could be that too. And yes, I use ethanol fuel, always premium. Just easier to get. Paying the price now for all this. Oh well, It'll get fixed up, hopefully later today after the PB Blaster soak.

Here's an article with pics of Billbob in the boat back when I first got it in 2018. https://www.crappie.com/crappie/cont...ugh-once-again
Seems like such a long time ago. Wow time flies.
My input, use a vacuum when you start disassembling things so you don’t get further junk in the fuel cell. No need for future gremlins.

All that BMW training is paying off. You have great skills my friend. Nice rod holders on that boat too my friend. Them crappie will be in trouble when you get up and going. You have to make up for lost time. Go get them!

Glad that you are getting things back together and will soon be catching them again.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
I can see the proof that Slab is not a preventive maintenance man. Been around Billbob too much..
A tetanus shot is required before getting on Slab's boat..
