Default Two Pounders By The Dozen /Pics

This morning was another good morning. We landed 40 very nice Slabs. All 13 - 16 inches. We had a dozen at 2 lbs. They have colored up a bit. Water temp was 52 and the air about the same. Again all were released. Name: IMG_0425.jpg

Doesn't look like southern waters have anything on the lakes your fishing, love seeing your crappie.

Your fish are all the way across the country but are on my bucket list. I will have to say that fishing all year round here without snow or ice is definitely keeping me spoiled.

Looks like I need a trip to Maine. I spent some time in Brunswick and Bath, while in the Navy. I was always there in the winter and the lakes were frozen over.

Very Nice! I've never seen crappie that color of green.

I lived in South Central Massachusetts for 4 years. I could never catch a keeping size crappie. I did find them in a couple of "Ponds". They were very small. Did a lot of trout fishing in the streams and rivers. I had no idea Maine had crappie like that or I would have been driving up there to fish
