Hope u filleted the bleeders
YES it is so , but no worries , they are HUNGRY in that spot none the less ....
got there at 3 30 in the bright sunshine ...random casting to open waters about 7 foot deep.
5 foot under a fixed cigar float and a 1/16 bright chart plastic on an unpainted head .
left at 5 because we were hungry just like them ....
Hammered em good we did and managed a few yellow bass in the mix as well .
only took 2 rods and a dog and took turns ketchn em ....
made one or 2 bleed a bit as it was distracting with a dog and a young one along .
the float might be gone a bit before someone in the crowd would say ....
hey where is your float ??
the good news even the bleeders swam on and the 20% pork belly and venison ground meat was defrosting while we out in the sunshine .....
got home and the meat hit the cast iron and that would shall we just say make it about ,,,,
the perfect family afternoon ....dog got to swim like a fish ...
fish got to swim like a fish ....at least 3 crappie thought they were black bass and took to the air on the way in to visit my hands
lost a few the ladies did as they are not quite into the NO SLACK after you hook one program .....but hey the rod still got bent and they still smiled big ....
tomorrow is another lake and a different program completely ....prespawn there...
one thing for certain .......
know the spots you hit well and what to expect when you visit and you can hold a bunch of slabs quite easily ...right off the bank or the dock , no boat or electronics required
KABOOM is and always will be the word my friends ....
p.s. and yes square pegs will in fact fit into a round hole ....just saying
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
That spot I have only visited twice with an invite, it’s a real big hoa lake .
There are rules in place to ketch and release there .
No worries there, it abounds with all the native species.
Mother Nature flood stocking program back when .
I am positive any that didn’t make it will get consumed by one of the monster gar or kitty fish that live there.
The channel cat my bud managed was almost big enough at about 8 lbs .
And I saw rather large gar last visit .
I would bet hard on monster flatheads living there as well .
Makes me want to drop half million on a home in there I tell ya

oh there is no waste in nature and I used to worry about those bleeders but know something will consume them IF they don't make it.
