    The arkansas fish sure looked like a 3.5 pounder rather than a 5. I will never believe it weighed that much.

    Yeah caught from a private pond, if it's a public record then the public should have had a shot at catching it. No different from not allowing deer from high fenced farms being recorded as Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young. If the public can't access the land or water then it doesn't belong in a public record book. And yes this list is incomplete big time.
