Default Spider rigging out of Lund impact. Anyone?

Would like some suggestions on mounting my graphs so they don’t interfere with my millineum rod holders and also best rod rack to use for 16’ rods. The windshield kinda limits what I can use for racks. I currently use driftmasters for rods when traveling but there is a lot of rod sticking out back.

I can’t help you specifically on the Lund but I fish a 19ft ranger with millennium rod racks and holders. My rod tips hang 3.5ft out the back. Other than walking into them occasionally in the garage, no issues transporting

I was told the tips of the rods are made to flex. It was better to have more flop on the tips than the middle of the rods flexing and bending like crazy. I have about 5-6 ft of the rods hanging off the end of my transport racks. I’ve had zero issues so far. I built my rod racks and I’m hauling 16ft rods. As far as rod racks, there are a lot of them that are nice, I would have bought the hi tecks if I didn’t build my own.

Thanks guys. I haven’t had any trouble with my rods sticking out past the back either, seems like my only problem with it might be worrying to much.

I line my graph up with the trolling motor. I can't put a rod where the trolling motor is, so I figure that is dead space an a great spot for the graph.

I don't have the Impact, but have the Alumacraft Competitor. Same basic issue.
Do you get the multi-seat option?

Yes I have the double seat bases up front I’m using millennium rod holders. I have 3 rod holder bases up front. One in the middle for when I’m by myself and one each side of center used when 2 in the front. I like where you have yours but if I put mine up there it would be under my rods when spider rigging with 8 rods. I’m thinking I would like to put 2 graphs on one mount and come up with a way to put them on the millennium base. I could use whichever base didn’t have a rod holder on it at the time. I’ve also thought about somehow using the sport track rail the Lund has. I have looked at mounts online till I’m blue in the face, just can’t decide.

I don’t spider rig out of my Lund Impact. I vertical jig. I do have two 12 inch graphs in front and center.Name: C38A826D-0B68-4FEA-95DB-99664A2A7FF0.jpg

I had my graph mounted front center on my bass boat. Really liked it more when I raised it about 16” with a hi-tek mount. Easier to see and cut way down on the floor clutter.

This is my setup on my Pro V 1775 and not sure if it will be the same for the Impact. Hope it gives you some ideas. Name: 69D89975-72AA-421E-952B-D38B8F5E2765.jpg

Krappiekrane I like that set up, I already had millennium rod holders so using them. I wish I had something kinda like yours but mounted with the sport trac. Guys, thanks for your input. I just finished up building my own mount today, I think it’s gonna work out ok. I did some dumpster diving at work for some scrap aluminum coupled that with some farm boy ingenuity came up with a mount. I’ll post a pic soon as I figure out how.
