I fished in the big boat for a couple of hours starting at daylight. Old Sam wanted to go but thought I’d go it alone for the first trip this year. Got cold (26 degrees) first thing, wind started blowing, blah, blah, blah. I came home early.
Later in the afternoon thought I’d sneak down to the pond to see if anything would bite. Didn’t take old Sam cause didn’t want him to get all muddy and have to bath.



Apparently made ol Sam mad. He’ll be going next trip

Add some color here. Biggest and best of 75 caught this morning. Most at the 11-12 inch mark then this one showed up.
