I take an apple cider vinegar gummy every morning. I’ve done this for years since I stay out chasing fish or game birds or some type of animal year round. And here in Middle Georgia ticks are out year round as are mosquitoes. Cuts down on the critters wanting to dine on you.
Alpha gal is not good and hard to diagnose, some people in time will regain the ability to eat red meat. A vector entomologist I have worked with in the past, her mother has had the virus twice. Not fun times to be sure
A woman about 5 mile up the road has that stuff. Makes one nervous at times living out here in the boonies and trapping there is no shortage of exposure.
I use Sawyer Fishermans formula....it is Fantastic.
12 hrs protection...and they have a Permethrin spray for clothes and added long lasting protection.
The doggone ticks used to die off in Winter, but no more....but this stuff works, and is safe!
Walmart and other stores carry it.
