    Congratulations!!!
Hunting these open water suspended crappie has become my favorite way to fish as well.
Now if I could just fix the dead zone on my Livescope where these fish and my jigs magically disappear.

Sure, its a 6 foot 10 inch UL spinning rod that weighs less than 2 oz, with a 1000-size Daiwa Luvias reel spooled with Sunline FC Sniper 3 lb test flouro line. Insanely expensive, no warranty, and you'd have to be crazy to buy one. LOL, I said it first.
Evergreen Superior Limber Tip SS model, Link EVERGREEN(エバーグリーン インターナショナル) - SPRS-610UL-S リンバーティップSS

It sits right next to my other rods, which go from there all the way down to my beloved $28 Eagle Claw Powerlite (I call it the Richard Gene model 'cause he uses one a lot on his videos skipping docks). I don't want anyone to think of me as a rod "snob" - which I ain't, but there is nothing I have fished that is more sensitive when fishing very small jigs. You don't need a rod like that to catch a fat crappie, no. It sure helps me, though.

    I cry when I break a $50 rod. LOL
I might be too scared to fish with this one!
