Invis-braid spider wire #15 rigged on my jigging rod. Great for fishing in cover, lilly pass, grass etc.

10lb braid w/6# mono leader under bobber! Saves on BOBBERS which are getting very expensive.

I use multiple types of braid. 30# Suffix for my doodlesocking rods, usually with no leader. 15# Kastking (cheapo ebay stuff) for dock fishing, with or without a fluoro (pick a brand) leader. I also use hi vis mono when I'm dock shooting.

In my experience, you usually don't need a leader where I fish in NE OK. I think this is HIGHLY dependent on your area.

NanoFil on 8' Okuma Rod, 8 lb. Flour-carbon leader on all Braid lines, Cats to Crappie. Casting or Spin-cast open face. On reels with Flour-carbon or Mono tied direct regardless of line color. YMMV.
