What type of weights for pushing cranks?

What type of weights do you use to push cranks? I recently bought a couple of Bandit 300s and am going to try this summer.

3 oz. trolling weights.....Grizzly Jig has some oood ones with swivels

I use 2oz myself. Inline torpedo type.

I use 2oz for cranks & 1oz for jigs ... The 2oz trolling weights (torpedo shape) came from Crawdads Fishing Tackle & the 1oz came from Cabela's (Offshore Angler brand). I also have 4oz trolling weights (from Crawdads) but have not used them.

None of mine have swivels or chains, but Crawdads does offer some of their trolling weights with swivels.

I use trolling weights with swivels. I pour my own so I have them from 1/2oz to 5oz.

I have been running Off Shore Tackle Tadpole diving weights in 2&3 sizes. They will trip when a fish hits and you don’t have to fight the weight.

Rickie (rnvinc) makes flexible weights he calls Snake n Da brush in several sizes. They work great rigged Carolina Rig style.

I forgot to add .... I started out using barrel sinkers. I put them on the main line, then a large hole bead, & then a duolock snap. They worked just fine, except for the fact that I would have to cut the main line & re-rig whenever I wanted to change the amount of weight I was using. I quickly realized that was a bit too cumbersome for my tastes, so I went to the trolling weights.

I use snap weights a lot for walleye. Prefer them to lead core or anything else.

I'm going to try those Snake weights. Look like they might work pretty well.
