I use both, different types of fishing calls for a different guiding system.

Would not give up my present Ulterra unless MinnKota comes out with brushless motor.
The self deploy and stow is super nice did not think I would appreciate it as much until I actually used it and it has been rock solid nary a problem.

There’s video comparisons on you tube that are very helpful in making your choice. I chose ultrex.

I just bought a Terrova and was searching for what fish finder to use with it and would you just mount it on a separate pole or where to search for a bracket to put on trolling motor?

Guys I really appreciate your comments. I have watched several video comparisons and read a lot of reviews of all the new models of trolling motors. Usually we only single pole with livescope and don't spider rig. For years I have used a Motor guide tm and don't use a remote. Years ago, before Minn Kota introduced spot lock MK and MG pretty well had equal shares of the market. However after spot lock came along Minn Kota dominated. Now that Motor Guide has introduced Pin Point Gps which is their version of spot lock I have decided to buy the Pro Tour model. Two other reasons for choosing this model it is the only true cable steer version to include spot lock and I am also accustomed to the power button being on the right side of the foot pedal ( the ultrex is on the left side). Again thanks for your input.
