I haven't used the swimrs before, but for 1.79 I bought a bunch of both.
Bass pro is running a sale for bobby garlands for 1.79 a package I wanna stock up for this season have never used the swimR version and was wanting opinion form yall swimR VS regular baby shad thank you..

Both are great baits. I tend to use the Swim’R when the water is warmer and fish are more active. The regular baby Shad when a subtle more dead stick presentation is best.
here are my favorites.
clear water- Monkeys Milk, Purple Monkey, Blue Ice, on pink head
dirty water- Cajun cricket, Crawdad, lights out snd Green Lantern on orange head.
in the coldest of cold and hottest of hot...don’t over look the itty bit.

I use too many to list. My thought is that they both have their place and time, and I’ve caught thousands on the regular baby Shad. If I lived up where it gets cold I’d have at least one pack of each in my favorite colors until I figured out if they fit the way I fish.

At that price I stocked up even more than I what I already have. I just ordered 35 packs. I need to stop this stocking habit. I could probably offer Bass Pro some if they run out on this sale.LOL

Are the slab slayers on sale as well ?
lakes I fish are mostly dirty to muddy all the time. guess the clearest is Mark twain and that is usually stained. Refrigerator white and chartreuse or black/char or red/char are my go to's. was BPS yesterday and still bought 15 bags and mixed up some other colors just for fun and to use up some of those gift cards.
course I had just bought a new 7 ft rod that is now on sale and that really hurts.
