Default Who’s ready for the spawn?

What’s the cover like where you fish ?Won’t be long the spawn will begin down south and slowly move north.
Most of the lakes in my area have cypress trees. The big black males( white crappie)will be scattered in 1-4 ft of water. They seem to prefer a little extra cover near the trees.
    Either grass or brush.

The lake I fish during the spawn has buck brush that is very thick. You gotta get them out quickly because you can have a tangled mess in mere seconds.

They're (everything) just starting here in East Central Florida. It's almost as though they're lining up for my presentation.

I am ready for some warmer weather. Mid 70's last week. Slap in the face cold front this week with lows in the 10's. Gusty winds and EF3 tornadoes. Poor fish do not know what to do.

Give me warm weather so I can go fish...or give me another long "Honey do list again!!!" I would prefer the first option.
