Another Deadsticking Adventure

Decided something after this trip. Deadsticking open water fish is very kid friendly. You do not have to worry about getting hung up, presentation is not as big a concern, and kids love it. Found the fish chasing bait in 34-38'. Hung tandem 1/4 ounce jigs over them 27-30'. Used livescope for the first time also and that benefitted the young fisherman in the boat as well. Really cool watching the crappie come up from below to grab your jig. My son asked me one time when am I going to catch another one Dad. I looked down at the monitor and said right now and sure enough he set the hook. Fun day for all.
