    Default Not Crappie......But Gooood Eating.

    They have started to bite a little.
    Water temp yesterday and today about 38 deg
    Two day catch.

    Caught them on the football jigs Iím gonna send you Rickie.
    Had to use 1/2 oz last 2 days because of current.
    No Livescope needed for them.

    Sauger... The bite in our stretch of Ohio river has been really good since Nov. Putting the size & creel limit on them was a blessing.

    Is the taste the same as walleye? Are they an incidental catch when walleye fishing or do you target them?

    Well done sir!! I've never tried sauger... but I've heard they are fine eatin'. Maybe one day.
