Well I guess clean up is about 60% and repairs 40% in the area. Just a few pics for y'all to see.
The pic shows all the glass replaced with boards.
On those blocks stood a large communications tower.
At the military memorial by the lake. This helicopter had no damage before the storms. Now it looks like it was shot down during a war.
Just to say life will not be the same ever around here. So many houses still tore up and not repaired. Probably more than 60% of the restaurants still closed. Hardly anyone around to hire to work at them anyway. So tired of all the dump trucks and refuse trucks. So tired of all the traffic from all the extra construction workers.
Praying for return to normal someday.
By the way, got a steroid shot in my thumb joint today. Hopefully it works and I will be able to push a button on a reel again. I want to be posting fish pics. soon. "D"

I am an insurance adjuster and I was paying Laura claims 10 hrs a day 7 days a week from Sept 7 - Dec 20. Lake Charles needs help. It is blown up like a bomb hit it. I heard if you look at google earth and move it out some, it looks like all of the homes have swimming pools, because all of homes have blue tarps. Prayers to Lake Charles. The news did not do it justice. Good luck on your thumb.
