The Cypress creeks are fiberglass rods correct? What’s the down falls of fiberglass over the likes of the other well touted rods - graphite and Kevlar?
    ......tight lines!!

Weight, strength and sensitivity. I’ve got some fiberglass rods and I don’t use them much anymore.

Which southern crappie rods is everyone hyping up? The 143’s or 143T’s? Seems southern rods are highly thought of round here. Lol

I’ve used Wally Marshall rods for years in the 10, 12, and 14 ft lengths for spider rigging. Couldn’t ask for a better rod for the money. Have caught countless fish and only broke one tip when it was slammed in the dry storage bin.
    My 2 cents

I’ll venture to say there is someone for every brand of rod. Just buy the best you can afford and go fishing. Once you get used to them they will be the best rods ever made.
