Default Southern Crappie 10/2 Stump Jumper rod

I just got my new Southern Crappie Rods 10’ Stump Jumper rod. It’s a rear seat rod with enough cork handle behind the reel seat to comfortably hold the rod to use the reel. The action is heavier than the standard SCR10/2 rod. The feel and balance is amazing. Ed Duke designed the rod for Livescope fishing and the action will be great for flipping or casting jigs. I can’t wait to get it wet!! Check it out.

Not my idea of what most rear seat rods are like.

My pic is a little out of proportion. Let me say this rod has just enough rod butt behind the reel seat to get a hand grip on it. Most of my other long rods have a foot or more rod butt. It isn’t like a fly rod seat.

I would like to feel this rod, too.
I live like a 50 minute drive from his shop. May have to make a road trip.
Swore the next rods I bought from him would be in person. Bought 2 different rods on 2 consecutive days from him early December, he shipped same day. They arrived 3 1/2 weeks later.
Did I mention I live a 50 minute drive from him?

Sat in Charlotte for 8 days, the rest in Greensboro.
The 2nd rod arrived 2 days before the one shipped first.
