    Default Hummingbird VS Lowrance?

Thinking about getting a new graph and was wandering what your opinions were about the 2. I have been running Lowrance all my life but thinking about changing.
One thing that I have heard is Hummingbird customer service is a lot better than Lowrance these days.

New stuff will be out soon, I would wait.
HB does have really excellent customer service!
I can’t speak of lowrance customer service.

Customer service stories, good and bad, abound on the forums ...

More “meat and potatoes” decisions can be made by the convenience of linking to your favorite trolling motor (or future purchase of trolling motor) to a certain brand of electronics ...

If you call Humminbird customer service, they are located in Alabama. They can understand and communicate with you in English. Lowrance is made in China. Don't suppose many of you speak Mandarin

All you have to do is ask for a US based representative.

    Works with amazon, too.

If you want the best possible SI then Hbird is the way to go, 2D and DI have pretty well equaled out now in the newer units. Which ever you decide on make sure to get the biggest screen you can afford even if it hurts a little.

I'm running Minn-Kota trolling motor so that matches up with Hummingbird.
SI and DI has always been better on Hummingbird so I've been told and now there chirp sonar is supposedly is as good as Lowrance's.
