I use the anti-glare coated one on my Helix 10. Shows no distortion, but really don't know how much glare it knocks off.
Have had a couple of jigs glance off it without incident.
Hope I never have to find out if it will take a full-on impact.

I use them on my units. If you take one off,,seems to bend it or stretch the temper out of it and it never goes back on as perfect as the first time installation. You will have more bubbles on reinstallation and better to get new protector and reapply. Been using them for quite a number of years and it keeps from scratching your glass in protecting it. When I sell a unit when upgrading to new units,,I leave it on informing the buyer. They do a great job of protection and don’t scratch up either. They seem to have a super thin mild adhesive making them stick to the screen so don’t touch the stickie side going on the unit’s screen surface or you will leave a finger print but it’s not noticeable except with the unit off. Installion is best with less bubbles to work out air bubbles if you start on one side and squeeze the screen down as you work to the other side of the screen working from the middle to the edges and make sure it’s on square. Best to place graph glasss on the screen centered with the protective film on centered to give you a idea of how it fits and covers the face...then peel the protective plastic off and work it on.

I have one on my iPhone. It’s a replacement as I cracked the first one by dropping it real hard. Phone ok, screen guard cracked. Took it to Best Buy and bought another and they installed the new and removed the old in about 5 minutes. Phone screen itself was still perfect. Never thought about one for my ‘Bird.

I have them on all 4 of my units. I got mine from Precision Sonar. I got anti-glare on all of mine. They make me feel better about touch screen units.

Installed these a couple years ago to protect the graph and have worked well. Still has a glare on direct sunlight at certain angles but nowhere the glare they had without it. Name: E1B7BC77-E133-40BD-B9CB-76AD42E83279.jpg
