Looking for some lures similar to Bobby Garland itty bitty swimer in colors like black gum, vegas and a solid pink ( hubba bubba ) color similar to hot lips. B.G. has them in the baby shad but not the itty bitty that I can find. Fish are on small lures and our water has gotten stained and these are my go to stain colors. Scott

Scott, I tie many of my small jigs under 1/32 and the color choices are endless and they’re more durable. Look into more detail on the jig tying and lure making forum. I use a lot of BG Itty Bitty stuff too but my hand ties catch just as many and the body doesn’t shift or tear up. Good luck

My eye sight or patience is not good enough to tie. I'd have to sweet talk Jawjatek or someone else to do it. Wish I had that abilty. FYI I've had to drop to a .5 gram gerbikin and cast out eat a sandwich and take a drink waiting on the jig to fall to them but it's been deadly in the colder water. Scott

I like and use the BG itty bit swimmers but trout magnets are my preference for gills etc. Tipped with a nibble or worm.Name: 20200501_125045.jpg

Don't limit yourself. My buddies & I fished 1/32oz jigs w/1.5" plastics at 30ft deep to catch Crappie in the Fall at Watts Bar Lake in Tenn. This was off a upside down tree out in the middle of the lake (which had snagged on something). They would NOT hit anything larger than the 1.5" Panfish Assassin Tiny Shad, nor would they hit anything on a 1/16oz head (we tried a little of everything, and there were three of us in the boat). The only saving grace was that the bottom 8-10" of the trunk was above the surface & we could tie off to it. Luckily for us, we had already transitioned to weedless jigheads at that time, so we didn't lose many jigs .... plus we could let the jig fall down thru all the branches & brush without worrying about the jig getting snagged on the way down.
